Dr. Swathi Shivakumar
Dr.Swathi Shivakumar is a board certified dermatologist, dermatosurgeon & aesthetician. After completing her MBBS from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute (BMCRI), she pursued her MD. Dermatology in JNMC, Belagavi. Her keen interest in surgery motivated her to undertake fellowship in Dermatosurgery from her alma mater.
Dr.Swathi Shivakumar has numerous publications in international and national journals. She believes that science is ever evolving and keeping up with latest breakthroughs in treatment is important. She is an avid listener, who believes that each person’s skincare needs are unique and hence requires personalized solutions.
Dr. Swathi has authored and co-authored several impactful publications, showcasing her expertise and research acumen. Some of these include: “The Unfair Drive to be Fair” – Psychosocial Aspects and Implications of the Use of Skin Lightening Agents”, “Cosmetic presentations and challenges of body dysmorphic disorder and its collaborative management”, and “Hair Transplantation Surgery Versus Other Modalities of Treatment in Androgenetic Alopecia: A Narrative Review”. She also actively participates in various conferences and workshops, enriching her knowledge and expertise in dermatology.
Apart from her professional accomplishments, Dr. Swathi is a remarkable athlete who has competed at the international level in water polo.

After completing my MBBS from the renowned Bangalore Medical College, MD in General Medicine from the prestigious JIPMER, Puducherry, I pursued my dream of becoming a cardiologist and received my DM in Cardiology from the acclaimed Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute, Trivandrum. I am passionate about interventional cardiology, with expertise in structural heart interventions such as TAVI and advanced intracoronary imaging.
